Maki’s cool Malaysia
On the way from the airport to Kuala Lumpur, we were surrounded by numerous highways and palm tress as well. After we came to our apartment, we went down to the nearby restaurant for a dinner. I ordered a shish kebab, and when I tasted it, I felt the spiciness of Malaysia. It seemed that kebab had all possible hot spices in it.
Family evening stroll next to Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur
Close to our accommodation, second tallest structure in Kuala Lumpur was located. It was KL Tower, which every night lit up the city during our evening strolls. On the top of our apartment building was a nice swimming pool. When I looked from above, I realized how high we were, actually on the top of a skyscraper.

First morning when we started walking, we saw a bunch of stands with food just next to our building, where we were able to by only Malaysian food. We checked every stand and were amazed like never before. For transportation, we used famous monorail train. It was amazing ride, where on every side I was able to see a part of the city.

Nearby, there were great and famous Petronas twin towers. Behind them is a nice park and fountain, which is lit up in different colors in the evening, and sounds like the whole country wants to dance. During a hot day we stopped again in that park, called KLCC Eco Park, and it looked like all your dreams are right in front of your eyes. I was amazed by wooden bridges, surrounded by fascinating purple flowers. In the middle of the park was shallow pool with showers for kids to play and refresh.

We went to visit famous Batu Caves, outside Kuala Lumpur. I always remember 257 colorful steps in front of me leading to the temple cave. The only thing that reduced pain in my legs, after climbing them, was that those steps were like rainbow, plus monkeys jumping next to us on every half a meter.

When we stepped into the cave, I had a feeling like I am in a world which is a bit spooky. Water was dripping from sharp stones of the cave creating even more excitement inside this temple.

Last step in Kuala Lumpur was amazing Birds Park where we saw birds of all kinds, colors and sizes. Life in Kuala Lumpur is way different then at home, but anyway, for me this place is a true fairy tale.
